Mini Tummy Tuck

If you are self-conscious about a rounded or sagging lower belly, and diet and exercise simply aren’t helping, you may benefit from a mini tummy tuck. This is a modified version of the abdominoplasty in which board-certified Raleigh plastic surgeon, Dr. Ortiz, eliminates excess skin and fat from the area below the belly button to create a flatter, firmer midsection.

Liposuction

While not a substitute for living a healthy lifestyle, including proper diet and weight loss, liposuction is beneficial in removing stubborn localized areas of fat that don’t respond to working out or diet. Liposuction, also called liposculpture or simply “lipo,” is one of the more popular cosmetic procedures both nationwide and in our Raleigh plastic surgery center.

Umbilicoplasty

Many factors can change how your belly button looks – pregnancy, belly button piercings, weight gain or loss, and even age. If you’re self-conscious or upset about the shape or appearance of your navel, umbilicoplasty may be right for you. Board-certified plastic surgeon, Dr. Ortiz performs this minimally invasive procedure to improve the shape of your belly button so you can feel more confident.

Injectables & Fillers

With the use of injectable facial fillers, you can achieve a younger, more vibrant appearance without having to worry about surgery. There is a broad variety of options to choose from, including collagen and Botox. Some are able to replenish volume and restore fullness to the face, while others reduce the look of wrinkles and fine lines.

Because of their minimally invasive application, having fillers injected requires almost no downtime. You can see the effects of your treatments from a few months to several years, while long-term results are possible with continued application.

Congenital Anomalies

Every year, 3-4 percent of babies  in the United States are born with a congenital anomaly. While the type and severity of these conditions can range from very mild to severe, they may impact your child’s appearance or their ability to speak, eat, or their motor development. Whether your child was born with a cleft lip or cleft palate, or they have another type of malformation, board-certified Raleigh plastic surgeon, Dr. Ortiz can help. Whether it affects their ears, nose, hands, or another part of their body, Dr. Ortiz can correct or repair the congential anomaly, allowing his patients to feel more confident and live a higher quality of life.

Scar Revision

Following injury, trauma, or surgery, scars can be a continuous reminder of your pain. If they are in a visible location, you may feel self-conscious of their presence or feel they negatively affect your appearance or even your well-being.  While scar revision surgery can not completely get rid of a scar or scar tissue, it can significantly reduce it’s size and appearance so you can feel more confident.

Ear Pinning Surgery

Having prominent ears can be a source of self consciousness for many people – through childhood prominent ears can lead to teasing and bullying, and that pain doesn’t go away in adulthood. Fortunately, our North Raleigh plastic surgery center offers otoplasty, more commonly called ear pinning surgery. This simple outpatient procedure improves how large, protruding, or misshapen ears look so your facial features appear more balanced and you can face the world with confidence!

Chin Augmentation

Genioplasty, more commonly known as chin augmentation, can transform the shape and look of your face. The procedure can reduce a more prominent chin by reshaping the bones, increase the look of a weak chin or jawline with the use of an implant, or minimize the look of a double chin that is often the result of a small or undersized chin bone. The goal of chin augmentation is to create a more proportionate appearance so you can feel more confident and attractive.

Rhinoplasty

Rhinoplasty, sometimes called a “nose job,” is the surgical procedure of changing the shape of the nose. While this is often done to make the nose more harmonious with the other facial features, such as reducing the size,  it can also be performed to correct damage. Injury to the nose can cause chronic sinus and breathing problems, and rhinoplasty can repair it to help our patients breathe more easily. Led by board-certified plastic surgeon, Dr. Ortiz, we can transform the look of your nose at our Raleigh plastic surgery center.
